About Colour Press
Colour Press is a free collection of children's illustrated stories and gentle games. A grown-up should supervise younger children using the website.
What the website saves
Story stars, the virtual puppy's name and care progress, and unlocked decorations are saved in this browser using local storage. The prototype does not ask children for an account, email address, or real name. Please use a nickname for the puppy rather than personal information.
What happens when you clear browser data?
Saved stars and puppy progress may be lost if the browser's site data is cleared or a different device is used. Progress is not synced between devices.
External shopping links
Book listings are currently previews. When verified links are added, a grown-up check will appear before leaving Colour Press for an external shop. Any purchases, payments and data shared on the shop are handled by that external website, not by this app.
Hosting and privacy
This version has no advertising, analytics, login, payment processing or server-side database in its application code. When published, the hosting provider may process standard technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs. The site's final privacy notice should be reviewed once hosting and contact details are chosen.
Contact
Parent contact details will be added before the public launch. Until then, this is a preview version.
